Football and baseball, Sugar Flowers, The Notebook, X-Box's, Lil' Monsters, doggies, cakescakescakes and The Rolling Stones! 8 cakes and a concert-------whew!

What a week! A special thanks goes out to Hannah my ex-baker. This was her last week with me, she is off to new adventures and I will miss her and her baking and decorating skills. By the way, looking for a new baker....I will post on that later.
:)

This week's cake included:
Shelby's wedding cake at the Belgium House. The piped lace with edible sequins matched the lace on her dress. Sugar bow with pearl and rhinestone brooch provided by her mother.
Shelby King's wedding cake based on the book The Notebook. Quotes from the book on edible wafer paper going down the front of the cake and edible wafer paper flowers made from the same quotes and colored to match her wedding palette.
Dalton's groom's cake. I really never cover my cakes with fondant, but in this case: black icing+ guests teeth+ wedding pictures= NO. So, black fondant it is!

Edible image Photoshopped by me!

Leigh's wedding cake with sugar flower topper that matched her bouquet. The ruffles and detailing matched the details on her dress.

Cody's cake.  All buttercream baseball and football.

Cody's dog- Gunnar.

Styrofoam bottom for baseball.

Stacking the cake on the baseball.

Dirty iced to keep the crumbs out of the final finish.

Still icing!  Hannah in the background icing another cake for me.

And this was not all of them- we also had a DIY cake and two wee cakes that were picked up.

Parker's first birthday cake and smash cake.

Last delivery of the day Saturday and on to the Stones concert with my boy and daughter-in-law!
A fabulous way the end a fantastic week! Rock on!
